Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil went up by $1.86 on Tuesday, 24 March, to finish at $27.97 per barrel (pb) from $26.11 pb on Monday, according to the official prices of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Globally, crude prices climbed by more than 3% amid hopes for a forthcoming $2 trillion US economic relief package.
Brent futures inched up by 12 cents or 0.4%, settling at $27.15 pb, while the US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude levelled up by 65 cents or 2.8% to close at $24.01 pb.
